Better than the generic (s) By Richard W. Stewart I use three batteries in the rotation, since I'm traveling frequently in places where no electricity. When I changed my old PowerShot S410 PowerShot SD750 a new I took a chance on buying two generic batteries ($ 12 instead of $ 42).
Both generic drugs are less than perfect, which is activated regularly icon 'low battery' / light, even when they were fully charged. Sometimes you might even evoke the message of "change of battery. On these occasions I had to open the battery compartment, remove the battery, then reinstall it, in which case can now proceed to take pictures with the same battery.
My sense was that the total battery of generic drugs was dramatically shorter than the original Canon, but do not try to measure accurately.
As soon as I could (about a month after I bought them, as I was traveling in time) generic returning to Amazon and paid full price for the original Canon.
